During a recent episode of The Thomas Loop with special guests The Whiskey Reverb and Noah Gokey in studio, the momentum was awesome and inspired "Loop" to dial one of the greatest distance athletes in the history of our country (USA), Gerry Lindgren - Nike before Nike - as Thomas Loop refers to him. Gerry won 11 NCAA titles in Cross Country and in Track for Washington State University - which also began the great tradition of a huge line of distance running all-time greats, including two time world champion in 1500 meters & 5000 meters (2007), Bernard Lagat, a naturalized United States citizen. "Loop" had the honor of interviewing the running icon for over a half an hour.
