Thu, 12 February 2009 ![]() This week on the Metal Inquisition, the 2nd annual St. Valentine Massacre to prepare one and all for the Hog-Wash, Hallmark Holiday that clearly was brought about for only one reason, to make men/women miserable and feel the need to make-up for a year of BS they dealt with from their insignificant others. I rarely hear a case of both sides complaining about their relationships, it's usually a one-way street due to the inability of one or the other to live up to their side of the deal. No "I" in team people, either work together or stay single, it'll be a much happier world for listening to my advice! That being said, this week there is a theme, all song selections are somehow related to VD Day as I explain as the show progresses. Congrats to The Age Of Plagues for winning last weeks Head2Head Battle, obviously being the "Blue Chipper" for taking the win at Mosh Olympics 3, did they pull it off?, no matter, we declared them most likey with the fan base voting in, that's all that really matters. I have omitted the Head2Head Battle this week to fit in more tunes, so fret not, we return next week to spreading the hate and discontent o my droogies...our patron Saint of Potty Mouth, Debbie, checks in at one point to share her feelings about VD Day with one and all...a treat we should all be grateful for. Tredd decided to use The Cramps for all bumper music this week, for two reasons, the loss of their vocalist Lux and because they are a bunch o horny bastiches, making their music perfect for the task... Metal News in between bitchin' and moaning about stupid people, a "Balls to the Walls" track, and before I release the list of those most likely to catch something that doesn't wash off over the weekend, I'll leave you with a paraphrased quote from Tesco Vee(The Meatmen), "If your having relationship problems, the answer is at the end of your arm..." 1-Heredity Unknown-Kevorkian Love Song Direct download: Metal_Inquisition_021209Podcast.mp3 Category: Metal Inquisition -- posted at: 6:00 PM Comments[0] |
